Pass through bowling’s Hall of Fame where rare photos and vintage film clips tell the stories of bowling’s greatest legends.
THE INVENTORS: Celebrated, Lionized, Mummified
Meet the inventors, innovators and perfecters of the game of bowling. From the ancient Egyptians to British monarchs to an enterprising German immigrant, follow the sport’s journey from archeological digs to American taverns to the first American bowling “alley.” Wade through the mystic sands of Egypt, and mingle with the likes of Cornelius Vanderbilt and Teddy Roosevelt as they discover this great American pastime at the exclusive Knickerbocker Club. Sidle up to a 1950s diner and take a spin on one of the stools. It’s all here at the International Bowling Museum.
