4th of July Celebration & PRCA Rodeo
Voted by USA Today one of the "10 great places to fly your patriotic colors on July 4th". Since the 1850's folks from all over Central Texas have been coming to Belton to celebrate the 4th of July. This week-long celebration features one of Texas' Top Ten Parades, the Festival on Nolan Creek, a carnival, Texas Ole Time Fiddlers' Contest, Patriotic Program, Kick-off Bar-B-Q, with the rodeo being the highlight of the celebration.

Christmas on the Chisholm Trail
Santa Claus arrives in the Downtown Historic District amidst performances by children's choral groups, strolling carolers dressed in Victorian attire, and sidewalks lined with food and crafts vendors. Businesses are open late, too. It's a time when families can enjoy the festivities and fill a wagon full of toys for the Santa Pal Program.
