Inspire Film Festival

The Inspire Film Festival is a five-day cinematic event dedicated to entertaining and inspiring audiences with films and stories that celebrate the human spirit. The films are selected based on their ability to enlighten as well as entertain audiences, and all are beautifully shot in fascinating locations around the world. Attending a film festival is a different experience than going to a theater to watch a movie. Not only do guests enjoy the films, but after each film there are Q&A sessions with the filmmakers and film subjects, symposia on related topics and events built to complement the film screenings.

Lighting of the Doves
Start the Holiday season with the Lighting of the Doves, an annual tradition that began more than two decades ago. The ceremony, meant to symbolize peace during the holiday season, attractions thousands of visitors each year to Town Green Park and along the Woodlands Waterway.

The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival
Enjoy a one-of-a-kind celebration of fantastic art, magnificent Texas music, and tasty food and drink at The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival. For three days in early April, The Waterway and Town Green Park become the most happening place in town. Works from more than 200 artists are featured, as well as the marvelous melodies of Latin-inspired bands. A craft beer garden, chef demonstrations, and interactive family activities are all part of the fun.

Red Hot and Blue
Celebrate Independence Day in style at Red Hot and Blue, The Woodlands’ Fourth of July celebration. Live music, face painting, strolling performers, and watermelon and hot dog eating contests are among the day’s festivities. The party is capped in the most American way possible: with a stunning fireworks show. This event is free and open to the public.

The Woodlands Children’s Festival
This annual festival, held at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, gives children a fun and interactive environment to let their imaginations run wild. Renowned children’s entertainers, music, pantomime, theater, science experiments, stories, and so much more are available to entertain and educate in equal measure. The event is best suited for kiddos up to intermediate school age. Tickets are available online and at the gate.

The Woodlands Ice Rink
From mid-November to mid-January, The Woodlands Ice Rink opens for its winter season, transforming The Woodlands into an icy wonderland. Strap on your ice skates and glide on the recently built ice rink facility that turns into the House of Blues during the summer months. Skate rentals are available on site, as is a separate rink just for younger skaters.
