Killeen, Texas: The City Without Limits, is one

feet featuring a large ballroom that seats 2000 theater style,
or 1,000 banquet style. The beautiful Special Events room, seats
125-banquet style or up to 250 theater style. You'll enjoy six
smaller breakout rooms seating 25-75, a formal Executive Board
room for 25, ample restrooms and changing areas, a loading dock
and full kitchen. A 51,000 sq. ft. Exhibition Hall, 400-seat Theatre,
Rodeo Arena seating 5,500, 20 R.V. Hook-ups, and beautiful new conference
hotel are located on the complex. Over 2,000 hotel
rooms are within a five minute drive.

Golfers will enjoy the two great local courses. Stonetree
Golf Club features eighteen challenging holes, a pro shop, and dining.
The Courses of Clear Creek, located on Fort Hood is open to civilians,
and boasts rolling hills with 27 beautiful holes, pro shop and
cafe.
The Mayborn Planetarium and Space Theatre is one of the largest
domed theaters in Texas seats 184 people and contains $2.9 million
in equipment. This unique facility is designed to provide an unmatched
educational and entertainment venue for all citizens and visitors.
Star projector sky shows, large format films and laser light shows
are open to the public Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons
and evenings.
First Cavalry Division and Fourth Infantry
Division Museums, located
on Fort Hood, tell of the rich and extensive history of
these two divisions of the United States Army. Both feature extensive
collections of photographs, artifacts and military vehicles. Admission
is free and guided tours are available by appointment. Two endangered
birds, the Black Capped Vireo and Golden Cheeked
Warbler, call Fort Hood
home in the spring nesting season and tours can be arranged. All
visitors to Fort Hood must go to the main gate and obtain a visitors
pass.
On Lakes Belton and Stillhouse, water lovers will enjoy boating,
sailing, skiing, swimming, scuba diving, fishing, and relaxing.
Miller Springs Nature Center and Chalk
Ridge Falls offer a pristine
view, hiking trails and the opportunity for bird watching. The
new Andy K. Wells Hike and Bike Trail provides cyclists the chance
to enjoy the view along the Nolan Creek. Belton
Lake Outdoor Recreation Area (BLORA) provides family fun year round, and is available to
visitors with military I.D. Every November through January, BLORA
becomes a winter wonderland with hundreds of lighting displays
at Nature in Lights.
The Killeen-Fort Hood Regional Airport is a state-of-the-art,
joint-use facility, servicing both military and civilian passengers
with regional jet service from American Eagle, Continental, and
Delta. Be sure to use airport code GRK when flying in. Skylark
Field offers service for private planes.
Sit back and enjoy performances at Vive Les
Arts Theatre. Or perhaps
you would rather catch an indoor football game with the Centex
Barracudas? Maybe a night at Rodeo Killeen will make
