The Running-R Ranch is a guest ranch with its focus on horseback riding, offering a variety of rides every day. Soak up the unspoiled beauty of the ranch and the adjoining 5,500 acre Hill Country State Natural Area where we do most of our riding. Our friendly cowboys will be glad to accompany you on rides you won't forget.
They'll also tell you something about the abundant wildlife, birds and plants. Learn from experienced wranglers about ranching, cattle, horses, or ride in our arena where we offer riding lessons for beginners and advanced riders.
Relax in our Round-up room, where you can meet other guests, play pool, watch TV or just sit on the beautiful porch and enjoy your stay under western skies. Go riding, hiking, play ping-pong and horseshoe pitching or just have fun in our nice swimming pool.

Stay in one of our cozy cabins which accommodate up to four people or our bunkhouse accommodating up to six. All have air-conditioning / heating, private bath, refrigerator and a beautiful porch to enjoy the Texas Hill Country scenery.
Take advantage of the two meals per day (breakfast and lunch) provided by our excellent cook and join our outdoor barbecues, cowboy breakfasts, hayrides and all other ranch activities.
