The San Elizario Historic District boasts over 80 Cultural events per year!

From the annual Billy the Kid Festival in June to the monthly Art Market on the third Sunday of every month from April to November and even the monthly Ghost Tours. There are over 40 working artist studio/ galleries in the historic district, including Amado Peña, Arturo Avalos, Barry Johnson, Bert Saldaña, Al Borrego, Rob Mack and Guadalupe Jacquez Calderon. Award winning restaurants, are also just a stroll away. The El Bandido Restaurant & Cantina on Main Street features outdoor seating with the Chapel view and live music on the weekends. Traditional fare at the Gourmet Burrito Mexican Food Restaurant, located in the Old Roller Mill building will give you a taste of Mexico, just a half mile from the international border.
