There's always something going on in Grapevine.
In the mood for a little night time entertainment? You'll want to check out Grapevine's historic Palace Theatre. The Theatre is home to the Grapevine Opry, one of the best country and western reviews this side of Nashville. The Palace Theatre is also home to a number of different performing arts groups. Please call ahead to check on performance times and dates.
For some high energy fun check out Dr Pepper StarCenter, ESPN Skate Park, and GameWorks at Grapevine Mills, or the Main Event, and the Summit Rock Climbing Gym, located at Hwy. 121 and Main Street.
The Grapevine Opry, 300 S. Main St., (817) 481-8733. Some of the best country and western entertainment this side of Nashville. Performances every Saturday at 7:30 p.m., with Gospel show on the 4th Friday of every month.
The Grapevine Vintage Railroad, 1901 Cotton Belt Depot at 705 S. Main (817) 410-3123 or www.gvrr.com. Excursions on this beautifully restored 1896 steam train take you over 21 miles of track, from historic Grapevine to Fort Worth's Stockyards Station. A one-way ride is approximately an hour and fifteen minutes. Call ahead to check on schedule, pricing and charters.

Looking for the romance of the winery and vineyard business? Where else would you expect to look but Grapevine, Texas? As the official home to the Texas Wine and Grape Growers Association, seven winery/tasting rooms, and the largest wine festival in the Southwest, Grapevine is quickly becoming recognized as the wine center of Texas.
If you're interested in something a little more physically challenging, explore Lake Grapevine or any of Grapevine's tennis facilities or top ranked golf courses including the Dallas Cowboy's Golf Club, Grapevine Golf Club and Bear Creek Golf Club.

Lake Grapevine
Home to four marinas, Lake Grapevine is a great place for boating, fishing, camping, and picnic facilities offering over 146 miles of rolling shoreline. Festivals
Grapevine celebrates events throughout the year.
In April, the city hosts the annual Grapevine New Vintage Wine Trail which includes the Jazz Wine Train, the Blessing of the Vines and New Release Wines, and shuttle rides to Grapevine's winery tasting rooms. In May, the city celebrates its prairie and railroad history at the Annual Main Street Days festival. In September, enjoy GrapeFest - the largest wine festival in the Southwest and one of the Top 100 Events in North America.
