Burleson Old Town Area, Burleson

Just 9 minutes from Downtown Fort Worth, Burleson is one of the fastest growing cities in Tarrant and Johnson counties, offering award-winning schools, specialty and antique shopping, quality housing, and a multitude of recreational opportunities.

Olde Town offers specialty gift shops, antique shops, restaurants, tea rooms, and Interurban Museum and Visitor Center. Visit Johnson County's oldest farm, Russell Farm Art Center, and view outstanding sculpture art and wildscape area featuring more than 100 types of plants.

Burleson offers some of Texas' most beautiful parks and recreational facilities. Six thousand sports fans flock to Bartlett Park in July for the Pony National Girls Slow-Pitch Softball Tournament. Hidden Creek Golf Course offers one of Texas' most challenging, scenic courses, and Hidden Creek Sports Complex hosts baseball and softball fields.

In May, Burleson hosts Good Life Days Week featuring daily activities for children, adults and seniors, Honey Tour De Burleson Bike Ride, Fiesta de Burleson (Cinco de Mayo celebration), and Honeyfest, an all-day festival for the whole family as well as Miss Teen Texas Pageant; Fourth of July Parade and Fireworks, Good Life Gala and Annual Auction, and Christmas Parade of Lights in December.

Visitors will find nationally known and local hotels, with more than 400 rooms (featuring 17 specialty, theme-oriented rooms).
