Save the date for the 2018 Asian American Heritage Festival in Downtown Plano’s Haggard Park! Celebrating its 15th anniversary, AsiaFest 2018 will showcase the rich cultures of Asia: Japan and Korea in the north; China, Taiwan, and the Philippines to the east; Vietnam and Malaysia in the south; and Bangladesh, India, and Nepal in the southeast. The numerous cultural demonstrations, performances, and vendors will provide a fun and engaging time for the whole family. Enjoy food and music from many countries, and learn about the languages, medicine, arts and fashion from many cultures. Watch the Lion dances, martial arts demonstrations, fashion show and cultural performances. Visit the vendor booths, learn about Asian medicine, Asian Language, and enjoy some ethnic food an music. There will be lots of children’s activities including drawing and painting booths, and STEM activities, a musical instrument “petting zoo” and so much more.
