AIRPORT FLY-IN, Saturday, May 14, 2016, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Family Friendly Event for everyone! In its 12th year, the skies above Smithville will be buzzing with activity. The Smithville-Crawford Municipal Airport - 84R, Loop 230 near Hwy 71, plays host to pilots and their guests that fly in for a day of fun and shopping Smithville-style! View the variety of planes and helicopter from a local emergency team landing, and be surprised by what might fly over. See the remote controlled planes demonstration, and pick up goodies. Meal Served 11 AM - 1 PM. FREE
