4 route bicycle adventure The Spindletop Spin’s ride mission is to actively promote health and wellness in our local community while raising funds to support legal related educational and charitable services for the citizens of Southeast Texas. This event will include 4 spectacular and scenic bike routes -- 13, 29, 52 and 106 miles appealing to riders of all levels. The event concludes at the Event Centre with music and lunch. The energy created on the street is infectious! This year we anticipate over 900 riders to participate. Bicycling is a low-impact aerobic activity that just about everyone – from young children to retirees can enjoy. Riding a bike lowers the risk of obesity, heart disease and breast cancer while improving muscle tone and strength. It also can lower stress.
