Country Place Senior Living of Canton Mulberry Hosts Afternoon of Laughter, Fun and Refreshments on June 6 at 2 p.m. Country Place Senior Living of Canton Mulberry is pleased to host famed Texas Author, Humorist, Historian and Entertainer Rose-Mary Rumbley for an afternoon of laughter, fun and refreshments on Monday, June 6 at 2 p.m. Proclaimed by Dave Lieber, columnist at The Dallas Morning News, as the ‘best speaker in North Texas bar none’, Rose-Mary has certainly made a name for herself. Her impeccable delivery and timing adds to her appeal as she peppers each talk with local flavor and humor that will leave even the most stern of people belly-laughing. Event details: Country Place Senior Living of Canton Mulberry Monday, June 6, 2016 1835 South Trade Days Blvd. 2 p.m. Canton, Texas Guests are invited to stay after the presentation to visit with Rose-Mary, the residents of Country Place Senior Living and to take a tour of the residence. “We are delighted that Rose-Mary is bringing her insight to our Country Place Senior Living of Canton Mulberry residence,” says Susan Sterling, Country Place Senior Living Regional Manager of Texas. “Rose-Mary will be speaking on Foods of Texas and we will be serving just that for those who attend, so bring a bit of an appetite.” Rose-Mary, who is almost 80 years old, has been speaking for more than 40 years and averages around 600 engagements per year. “I have no idea how she does it, but she definitely takes being an ‘active’ senior to the next level,” continues Sterling.
