Looking for a foodie-filled weekend? The 6th annual “A Taste of New Orleans” is a great event that showcases Palestine’s local flavors. Local Chef’s, Foodies & Restaurants kick it up a notch as the culinary taste of New Orleans fills the Palestine Main Street District during Mardi Gras. The annual celebration of Louisiana-style cuisine shows off the talents of local chefs and wineries. The festivities start at 11:30 and include free food demonstrations and samples paired with wine or beer as you stroll down Palestine Main Street and enjoy the sounds of Cajun music. All of this will wrap up by 5:30 so you can see and enjoy beautiful floats during the Mardi Gras Parade. Kids and families will enjoy the sights and sounds of this annual event.
