Dec 17, 2016

Travel back in time for a fun-filled visit to Christmas Eve pasts! Start your evening with a merry greeting from Christmas carolers at the Visitors Center and hot chocolate and coffee to warm your soul. Then enjoy a classic, holiday meal featuring the best and most scrumptious recipes from Christmas pasts. Enjoy this delicious festive feast and then take a turn on the dance floor to the music of the ever-popular Pat Gavin and the Buckaroo Band. After your hearty Christmas meal, hop on our time-traveling tram and take a journey back to Christmas Eves of the past. 1st Stop: Travel back to Christmas Eve 1869 and join the Ryon Family for a housewarming ball. Take a turn in the Ryon yard and then tour Polly’s newly-purchased and redesigned family home. 2nd Stop: Visit a line camp on a Christmas Eve in the early 1900s and learn about the changing face of the cattle industry. Visit with the cowboys and sing some tunes out on the lonely range while sipping hot coffee and cider by a roaring fire. 3rd Stop: On your last stop, call on the George family on Christmas Eve 1945. With WWII ending four months before, celebrate with the Georges in a world finally at peace. RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED. Tickets are $50 for adults and $45 for children, seniors and groups of 10 or more. This event is recommended for adults and children age 8 and up. (Please note: Reservations are non-refundable.
