Celebrate Texas at Fort Martin Scott Days

Apr 28, 2017 - Apr 29, 2017

Experience 1850s life on the Texas frontier during living-history weekend at Fort Martin Scott in Fredericksburg. Reenactors in period military and civilian dress and Native Americans share stories of the fort and early Fredericksburg, with military drills, cannon firings, bugle calls, frontier camps, pioneer cooking and pioneer homemaker crafts. Friday April 28 is School Day with special activities for school groups, including homeschoolers. Free admission both days courtesy of co-sponsors Crenwelge Motor Group and Texas Jack Wild West Outfitter.
