Frontier Days at Fort Martin Scott

In Fredericksburg, Fort Martin Scott tells the story of the Texas frontier in its living-history weekend, a fun outing for all ages. Reenactors in 1800s dress portray soldiers, military families, early lawmen and Native Americans. Taste pioneer cooking and learn crafts of the time as bugle calls, cannon firings and military drills add to the unique experience.. Friday Oct. 20 is Education Day, with special activities for school groups, including homeschoolers. Admission is free courtesy of co-sponsors Crenwelge Motor Group and Texas Jack Wild West Outfitter.
