Nature lovers big and small can explore Viridian’s abundant wildlife during the 4th annual Bio Blitz and Campout, Friday and Saturday, April 27-28. The Arlington community’s Overlook Park, 1210 Viridian Park Lane, will host the free event, which includes a campout with s’mores, nature stories and more starting at 6 p.m. Friday. Bio Blitz gets underway at 8 a.m. the following day. Activities include a meet and greet with interesting animals and a look at fossils discovered within the community. Nature-themed mini-field trips, seminars and children’s activities will round out the family-friendly festivities.
