Austin artists will unite for a purpose from April 1-6 to benefit Hopefully Sow, an organization devoted to educate, equip and mentor children in foster care. The mission of the organization is to sow seeds of love, joy and aspiration for children in foster care in the Austin area. Hopefully Sow hopes to provide the children they serve with the tools they need to succeed outside of the system. Local artists participating in the benefit include: Brad Ellis, Hayley Mitchell, John Maisano, Kevin Greer, Maxine Price and Ash Almonte. A special gallery reception is planned for Saturday, April 6 from 6-8pm. This reception is complimentary and open to the public will all works on exhibition available for acquisition.
