Texas Music Revolution & Rodeo 2019

Mar 29, 2019 - Mar 30, 2019

Dallas area radio station KHYI The Range is hosting Texas Music Revolution & Rodeo 23 presented by Deep Ellum Brewing Co. March 29-30, 2019 at the Red Tail Amphitheater at Plano’s Oak Point Park. This year’s lineup looks as solid as years before. Friday night’s headliner is guitar virtuoso Junior Brown who will be bringing along his “guit-steel,” a double neck guitar of his own creation. The top neck is a traditional electric guitar, while the bottom neck is a lap steel guitar played with a slide. Other Friday night performers include Max Stalling and Big Gus & Swampadelic. Saturday’s headliners are Texas troubadour Robert Earl Keen and songbird LeeAnn Womack. Keen has recorded 12 albums and had his songs covered by The Dixie Chicks, George Strait, Joe Ely, the Highwaymen and Lyle Lovett. Womack returns to the TMR stage to perform “I Hope You Dance” and other favorites. Arizona’s Roger Clyne and The Peacemakers, originally known as The Refreshments, will also perform Saturday, along with Vincent Neil Emerson, Jaime Wyatt and Zane Williams. For the first time in TMR history, bull riding will be available on Saturday, March 30. Friday only general admission, Saturday only general admission, two-day general admission, and VIP tickets are available to purchase. Tickets start at $12.50.
