After all, with two CDs as a leader to her credit, plus a basketful of performance awards and even a pair of European tours, Hale Baskin is just getting started! Early in her career, she won the DownBeat Magazine Award for Best Student Vocalist on two separate occasions. That’s a strong call out from a pretty authoritative source, to put it mildly!
