The Texas Sealife Center will host it's Turtle Trot 5K & Sea Turtle Festival on Oct 5 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Briscoe King Pavilion. Kick off the day with a "Turtle Trot" 5K/10K at 8 a.m. and then at 11:00-4:00 enjoy a day full of food trucks, live music, activities for kids and offerings from other local vendors all there to celebrate and support local wildlife. The event benefits the Texas Sealife Center, a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of coastal and aquatic wildlife.
