Texas Wildlife & Woodlands Expo
The Texas Wildlife & Woodlands Expo is a fun and family friendly event meant to educate about the great outdoors. For a more hands-on experience, head to the Family Adventure Zone, where you can go kayaking, climb a rock wall, shoot an arrow, and much more. Montgomery County Fair & Rodeo

Concours d’Elegance of Texas

Conroe Cajun Catfish Festival
Delicious fried catfish and Cajun food, tons of live music, and arts and crafts vendors make up the Conroe Cajun Catfish Festival, held in the second weekend of October in historic downtown Conroe. A professional carnival, street performers, a car show, and fireworks on Friday night round out the entertainment options at the festival.

Texian Heritage Festival
The Texian Heritage Festival is a celebration of the state’s early years. History comes to life with booming cannons, dramatic Texas Independence battle reenactments, a Texian army tent encampment, and actors wearing period clothing. This festival typically occurs on the third weekend of October at the Fernland Historical Park in Montgomery.
