Frost Fest

Frost Fest is a unique festival which celebrates the holiday season in a unique way. We bring snow and ice to the Piney Woods of East Texas! Come to Palestine to celebrate the season, like you can nowhere else! Frost Fest whisks visitors away to a winter wonderland filled with snowman building, historical tour of homes, live music and performances by local arts center students, Freeze Your Buns 5k, yummy hot cocoa & cookies from a local coffee shop, games, food trucks, and more! Stay until dark and enjoy the Christmas Parade of Lights that ushers in Santa, tree lighting at the Courthouse and a visit with Santa himself.
