Temporary Exhibit Opening: Supreme Commander Eisenhower in North Africa

The exhibit commemorates the 75th anniversary of the Allied invasion of North Africa during World War II. This was General Eisenhower’s first military action in his role of Supreme Commander of Allied forces in Europe. From November 1942 through March 1943 American troops gained their first direct experience fighting Nazi Germany, learning lessons they would use in Normandy invasion two years later.
The exhibit will be on display until 4/1/2018.
