Fort Martin Scott Days

Experience 1850s life on the Texas frontier during living-history weekend at Fort Martin Scott Days in Fredericksburg. Reenactors in period military and civilian dress and Native Americans share stories of the fort and early Fredericksburg, with military drills, cannon firings, bugle calls, frontier camps and pioneer cooking and crafts. Friday April 27 is School Day with special activities for school groups, including homeschoolers. The Texas Camel Corps will be on site Friday with camels to share their role on the frontier.
