Ridley Rendezvous

Padre Island National Seashore will host the first ever “Ridley Rendezvous” at 6:30 am-1:00 pm on July 14, 2018. The event celebrates the 40th year of successful collaboration of the bi-national, multiagency Kemp’s Ridley Sea Turtle Restoration and Enhancement Project at Padre Island National Seashore. The family friendly event will feature special Jr. Ranger Badges, art exhibits, and appearances by Padre Island National Seashore’s mascot, Sandy the Sea Turtle. The event will also have public releases of rehabilitated sea turtles.
