Every year the City of Brownsville organizes Earth Fest. This event is designed to create awareness in the community of the ecological benefits of “green” living.Earth Fest provides fun for all ages including mobile recreation, art projects, local health organizations; live music all day long; contests; dancing; composting info with free bike-safety checks, food & beverage vendors, and much more!There is also a give away of an assortment of containerized trees for city residents to plant at home. give away an assortment of one-gallon containerized trees for city residents to plant at home.
