Central Texas Cowboy Gathering

This is a 3 day event combining the worlds of country music and Western music along with Cowboy poetry and storytelling. Friday, June 7th the gates open at 4:00 for shopping at a variety of merchandise vendors, and a storytelling contest for young and old. Food vendors will be dishing out their fare, and a Friday night dance will cap off the night. Saturday, June 8th gates open at 9:00. Activities include: Western music from International Western Music Association performers, open- mike performers, Cowboy poetry, storytelling, Western reenactment performances, for kids: pony rides, wagon train ride, stickhorse barrel racing, shopping at merchandise vendor booths, and food vendors.
