2020 Battle on the Mountain Civil War Reenactment

Come out to The Mountain & Old Mill Marketplace on our February First Monday Trade Days. Stroll through the pavilions, enjoy The Mountain shops, eat at your choice of Cafe's, sip & stroll a glass of wine, enjoy the free music entertainment and catch the cannon and rifle demos at various times all weekend long. Watch the wild west robbery of Circle the Wagon's Cafe along with The Texican Wild West show! Don't miss the new Civil War themed mobile Escape Room from HE Escapes N Stuff and the 1890's Deli and Pizzeria Food Trailer just outside our authentic Reenactment grounds. Don't forget to buy your tickets to watch history come to life Sat and Sun for the 1pm Civil War Reenactment as the troops "Battle for Old Mill Station". The infantry march in formation, the Calvary charges ahead on horseback, as the artillery maintains a constant roar of cannon fire. Experience living history with numerous demonstrations of life in the 1860's at The Mountain & on the battle field. Sample Dutch oven cooking from days gone by, shop the period "sutlers", visit military encampments, talk with soldiers and civilians alike. Saturday evening attend the Civil War Ball with period music by Buttermilk Junction String Band & traditional dances called by Dyson Nickle. Costumes are welcomed.
