Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration

On Saturday, January 15, 2022, the community of Mesquite will host a parade and community celebration honoring the life and legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. The parade will begin at 10 a.m. in Downtown Mesquite followed by the Community Celebration at 2 p.m. at the Mesquite Arts Center Concert Hall, located at 1527 North Galloway Ave. The Community Celebration will feature remarks by various church pastors and community leaders, dance and musical performances, plus monologues.
