125th Annual Gillespie County Bundes Schuetzenfest

Old-fashioned German target shooting competition where the winner becomes the "Schuetzenkoenig" or "King of Marksmen" and reigns until the next year's competition. Spectators are welcome.  There is no parking or admission fee.  Food and drinks will be available for sale.  The five Shooting Clubs parade in at 9 am.  Competition begins at 1 pm and continues until around 6:30 pm on Saturday. Shooting resumes on Sunday from 8 am to noon and continues at 1 pm until the winners are decided. Location TBA.
