Firkin Fest

Firkins are THE craft beer of the craft beer world. Firkins (yes, that’s a real word!) are small, generally, wooden casks in which beer is fermented and then served out of as well. The beer from firkins is not filtered and often, extra ingredients are added such as spices, fruit, or even extra hops. The great thing about firkins is that each beer brewed in them is unique! Even with the same ingredients, no two firkins are the same so each and every beer you try at the Downtown Bryan Firkin Fest will be a once in a lifetime sampling!
