Downtown Winnsboro will blossom once again with the return of BLOOM, an immersive floral art experience celebrating spring in full color. Now in its fourth year, the festival hosted by the Winnsboro Center for the Arts (WCA) invites visitors to experience art, music and community from April 11–25.
Set in The Bowery within Winnsboro’s Cultural District, BLOOM transforms downtown into a garden of artistic expression. It's the perfect place to plant yourself for a weekend and watch inspiration grow.
The BLOOM Art Exhibition features floral and spring-themed works by approximately 30 regional artists, including paintings, photography, sculpture and mixed media. The WCA gallery is open Wednesday through Saturday during the festival, with FREE admission.
FREE Art & Heritage Walks take place Saturdays at 10 a.m. (April 11, 18 and 25), exploring Winnsboro’s history and vibrant arts culture. A special The Art of Chris Brown Art Walk on Friday, April 24, from 5–8 p.m., offers a FREE twilight stroll through downtown led by BLOOM creator/local artist Chris Brown.
On Friday, April 18, at 7:30 p.m., Grammy-nominated country singer-songwriter Lee Roy Parnell brings his signature slide guitar sound to The Bowery stage.
Additional highlights include a larger-than-life floral sculpture created by Brown that serves as the festival centerpiece; a weekly Saturday Farmers Market; the Winnsboro BLOOM Pickleball Tournament (April 17–19); and Viva Las Vegas, the April 11 opening-night artist reception.
Founded in 2022 by Dallas/Winnsboro artist Chris Brown, an East Texas native, BLOOM celebrates the beauty of the changing seasons and Winnsboro’s deep-rooted creative spirit.
