Events at Magnolia Market

With its fashionable home décor inspired by Fixer Upper’s Joanna Gaines, big green lawn under its famous silos, and food trucks that serve the tastiest food in Waco, Magnolia Market is the place to be.

Far more than a shopping destination, this is the kind of place where you can hang out with your family and make new friends.

Although you can visit at any time of the year, there are some major annual events at Magnolia Market that you won’t want to miss.

Read on to learn a thing or two about these goings on, then mark your calendar for these can’t-miss festivals.

March

Spring at the Silos
Browse art, floral, and home décor vendors from across the country and celebrate the arrival of spring. Find your inspiration in the market, taste some of the best food in Waco at the food truck area, and listen to local bands play the day away. Held at Magnolia Market over three days in mid-May, Spring at the Silos has it all.

April

Silo District Marathon
Go for a new personal record and run alongside Chip Gaines when you take on the Silo District Marathon. Started in honor of Gaines’ goal to run a marathon, the event is just as much for fun runners as it is for long-distance road warriors. The 5K run takes you past the historic buildings and shops of downtown Waco, while the half- and full-marathon routes meander over and along the Brazos River on a tour of all the town’s top spots. Cross that finish line and you’ll get a finisher medal, t-shirt, and post-race refreshments, plus the satisfaction of a race well run.

October

Silobration
Welcome the autumn season at the annual Silobration, an annual party marking the establishment of Magnolia at the Silos. Shop the wares of more than 90 artisan vendors from across the country, hang out on the lawn, and take in an after-hours concert.

December

Christmas at the Silos
Put on your finest Christmas sweater and find your way to Magnolia Market for Christmas at the Silos, a weekend of festive revelry for all gages. Uncover one-of-a-kind treasures in the Christmas market full of artisan vendors, have your kids meet and take photos with Santa Claus, and listen to your favorite holiday tunes at a ticketed concert in the evening.
