National Museum of Funeral History Hours and Admission Prices

Any day above ground is a good day, as the saying goes, and any day of the week is a good day to stop by the National Museum of Funeral History. The largest educational center on funeral ceremonies and customs in the U.S. opened in 1992 to preserve important pieces of funeral history and educate the public on the funeral industry, the museum is one of the most fascinating attractions in Houston.

Monday – Friday: 10 AM – 4 PM
Saturday: 10 AM – 5 PM
Sunday: Noon – 5 PM


National Museum of Funeral History Admission Prices

Adults: $15
Seniors (55+) / Veterans: $12
Children (ages 6 - 11): $7
Children (0 - 5): Free


A group rate of $10 per person is available for parties of at least 25 guests.
