The Chisholm Trail Outdoor Museum in Cleburne, Texas, sits on the beautiful banks of Lake Pat Cleburne. The museum not only pays homage to its namesake and the massive migration of longhorns bound for the North but also the cowboys who traveled along this historic route and the pioneers who settled here in Wardville. Although Wardville has long since disappeared, the outdoor museum brings it to life with original mid-1800s buildings and carefully constructed reproductions.
Guided and self-guided tours, onsite museums, and a host of classes, camps, and annual events allow you to step back in time. Come experience the best of the Old West at Chisholm Trail Outdoor Museum in Cleburne.
