The World Heritage Center in San Antonio is a remarkable gateway to the city’s UNESCO-designated Spanish colonial missions, including The Alamo, Mission Concepción, Mission San José, Mission San Juan, and Mission Espada. It illustrates the missions’ deep cultural and historical legacy through interactive exhibits, storytelling, and local art, with a special spotlight on the area’s Indigenous peoples and Spanish settlers. Itself designed in the style of Spanish-colonial architecture, the center is a site to behold all its own. To reach as many as possible with San Antonio’s rich legacy, admission is completely free.
