Coleto Creek Park and Reservoir
Pack your tent or pile into the RV and head to Coleto Creek Park and Reservoir, where the scenery is stunning and the water is inviting. You’ll find everything you need for a good time, including volleyball courts, barbecue grills, hiking trails, a boat ramp, and a fishing pier. Museum of the Coastal Bend
Did you know that when the pyramids were being built in Egypt, people had been living in the Coastal Bend for more than eight thousand years? Visit the Museum of the Coastal Bend and you’ll learn about 13,000 years of Texas history and culture, as well as the influence the French, Spanish, and Mexicans had on the region. Check out cannons from French explorer La Salle, swords from the Spanish period, and other artifacts that tell the story of the region.

The Nave Museum 
Named after nationally-renowned artist Royston Nave, The Nave Museum in Victoria features six or eight diverse art exhibits throughout the year. It is also housed in a Greco-Roman hall that was built in 1932 as a memorial to Nave and is included on the Old Victoria Driving Tour.

Old Victoria Driving Tour
Get to know Victoria and its history in a unique way by taking the Old Victoria Driving Tour. Pick up a copy of the Old Victoria Driving Tour brochure and map at the Explore Victoria Visitor Information Center and take a leisurely drive through the historic areas to see homes, churches, businesses, and landmarks of note. Many of the locations are listed on the National Register of Historic Places and are Recorded Texas Historic Landmarks.

The Texas Zoo 
Observe magnificent creatures like red ruffed lemurs, golden-handed tamarins, black bears, and jaguars at The Texas Zoo, designated The National Zoo of Texas by the 68th Texas Legislature. The Texas Zoo is one of the attractions in Victoria that offers an ideal place for birthday parties, and works to advance conservation through science, education, recreation, and action while connecting people with wildlife. Victoria Educational Gardens
Stroll through the impressive Victoria Educational Gardens (lovingly nicknamed VEG), where the hard work of the Victoria County Master Gardner Association is evident through the lush gardens that include a vegetable garden, children’s garden, military honor garden, water garden, and butterfly garden.
