Capital of Texas Police Motorcycle Chute Out
Hosted by several law enforcement agencies in and around the Buda area, the Chute Out is free to the public and features police motorcycle skills competitions, an exhibitor show, stunt riders, music, and door prizes.

Buda Country Fair and Wiener Dog Races
Buda is known as the “Wiener Dog Capital of Texas” for a very good reason. The famous wiener dog races are just part of the activities in this April event; live music and entertainment, best-dressed dog contest, cook-offs and bake-offs, and pet parade round out the weekend fun.

Movies in the Park

Red, White & Buda

Fire Fest
Since 1958, the Buda Fire Department has hosted this annual fundraiser that has become one of the town’s most popular community events. Festivities include the Main Street Music Meltdown - free concerts at three different downtown locales - as well as a kids’ zone, firefighter challenges, arts and crafts vendors, and more.

Fajita Fiesta
A fairly recent addition to the Buda events calendar, Fajita Fiesta is a day of great food, eating and cooking contests, live music, games, and arts and crafts vendors. Parking, admission, and concerts are all free.

Boo-da Halloween
