Loyd Park
With 221 campsites, Loyd Park is a favorite for campers and outdoor lovers. Lynn Creek Park
Open from March through October, Lynn Creek Park has a beach and swimming area in Joe Pool Lake, plus boat ramps, a full-service marina, boat rentals, a fishing pier, restaurant and club on the water, plus beaches, group picnic sites and a playground, plus a volleyball court. It’s also the site of the annual winter’s Prairie Lights.

Uptown Theater
Since opening in 1950, Grand Prairie’s movie theater/playhouse has been home to first-run movies, minstrel shows, battles of the bands and go-go contests.
