Indian Point Fishing Park and Pier
For some of the best fishing and birding in the greater Corpus Christi area, head to Portland’s Indian Point Fishing Park and Pier. Situated at the mid-point of the Nueces Bay Causeway, the park and pier sits within an area frequented by many good eating fish. That’s particularly true in the winter, when black drum fish come to the area to spawn. Cast your line off of the lighted pier, watch the multitude of birds, and take in the amazing view of the Corpus Christi skyline to the south.
