Bring your kiddo for this one-of-a-kind fishing tournament held at Seabourne Creek Park! During this one-day event, kids from all over the area compete in three age divisions to see who can catch the biggest fish.

Annual Crawfish Boil & Fish Fry
Laissez les bon temps roulez at the annual crawfish boil and fish fry in Rosenberg. This late-March festival features great country music and all the tasty mud bugs and fried fish you can eat. More information can be found at the Fort Bend County Fair & Rodeo’s website.

RailFest
Embrace Fort Bend County’s railroad heritage at RailFest. This popular festival, held every second Saturday in April at the Rosenberg Railroad Museum, features a model trail layout show, museum open house, trackless train rides, live music, tasty fair food, and a variety of games for the youngsters.

September

Fort Bend County Fair & Rodeo
The Fort Bend County Fair & Rodeo is one of Rosenberg’s marquee events and one of the largest county fairs in Texas. For 10 days, the Fort Bend County Fairgrounds are jam packed with all sorts of fun things to do. Carnival rides and games, wine tastings (Grapes on the Brazos), shopping, live music, and a junior livestock show make up this massive annual event.

October

BOO-berg Halloween Carnival
Take your little ghouls and goblins out for a day of fun and games at Rosenberg’s Boo-berg, an annual event for children 10 and younger held at Seabourne Creek Park.

November

Prairie Heritage Festival
Discover how the Fort Bend County region looked before human settlement at this annual event, held at Seabourne Creek Park in Rosenberg. Along with the exhibits, presenters, demonstrations, and performers, the festival includes horse-drawn wagon rides, face painting, food and drinks, and nature tours.

December

Rosenberg Christmas Nights
Celebrate the dawn of the holiday season during Rosenberg Christmas Nights, a two-night affair at the beginning of December. Throughout the event, the historic buildings in downtown Rosenberg are lit up in festive holiday lights, providing the perfect backdrop to an evening experiencing the area’s fantastic shopping and dining. Photo opportunities with Mr. and Mrs. Claus, trackless train rides, free movie showings, theatrical productions, and live music are also part of the event.
