A unique celebration rich in German culture and full of Texas fun. During the 10-day festival, you'll find a variety of entertainment, food and fun on the Wurstfest Grounds in Landa Park and many special events throughout New Braunfels and Comal County.
Nestled in the Texas Hill Country, New Braunfels is conveniently located on IH 35 between San Antonio & Austin. The Wurstfest grounds lie just inside Landa Park along the banks of the Comal River.
HOURS and SCHEDULE: Wurstfest opens on weekdays at 5 pm, Saturdays and Sundays at 11 am. Wurstfest closes at 12 Midnight on Thursday and Fridays, 10 pm Sunday through Wednesday, 1 am on Saturdays and 10 pm on the last Sunday.
ADMISSIONS: Festival admission is $8 ($6 if purchased in advance) and includes access to all entertainment areas including the Wursthalle. Children 12 and under are admitted free. If you wish to leave the grounds and return later that same day, please be sure to have your hand stamped at the gate.
FOOD and DRINK: Food and drinks are sold throughout the grounds. Visitors are prohibited from bringing ice chests, beer or wine onto the festival grounds.
PROPER ATTIRE: Shirts and shoes are required attire for festival patrons.
RAIN: Wurstfest continues rain or shine, and no rain dates are scheduled.
DIRECTIONS: From I-35 take the Walnut Street exit (#186). Drive north on Walnut approximately 2 miles to Landa Street. Turn right on Landa. Festival grounds will be just past the 2nd light (at the entrance to Landa Park) on the left. Parking is on the right.
PARKING: Parking in the area adjacent to the festival grounds is limited. A shuttle service may be available from local hotel, motel and resort facilities, as well as from some of the major attractions.
HANDICAP FACILITIES: Grounds are handicap accessible and handicap parking is available. Patrons with disabilities who require a service animal for assistance are welcome.
PETS AND SERVICE ANIMALS: Pets are not allowed on the grounds at any time. Patrons with disabilities who require assistance from a service animal are welcome.
