Esperanza Peace and Justice Center Annual Peace Market Extravaganza!

NOVEMBER: The Esperanza Peace and Justice Center invites the public to its Annual Peace Market Extravaganza (Mercado de Paz) at 922 San Pedro Avenue.

This unique, open-air, annual market offers a community alternative during the busiest corporate shopping days of the year. It is a distinctively festive market where over 100 international and local artists/artisans will offer shoppers a variety of artful, beautifully handmade items, including woven rugs, crafted pottery, textiles, embroidered clothing, paintings, and more. Live music and raffle prizes every hour!

The Peace Market provides a family-friendly environment that honors the importance of moments and spaces where people gather in community. For the past 24 years, visitors and local patrons have gathered at The Esperanza Center, filling the two story building, the back patio and spilling out into the adjacent street filled with vendor tents. The Esperanza Peace and Justice Center is located 1.5 miles north of the downtown library on San Pedro and Evergreen St. across from the VIA offices. We hope to see you there!
