Seguin Visitors Guide
There's a Story Here.
Seguin, Texas, is small enough to have a friendly feeling - a town where tree-lined streets are graced by Queen Anne mansions and charming bungalows, where historic buildings surround the town square and a whimsical bandstand punctuates shaded Central Park.
This is a community of neighborhoods where families live among people of all ages, incomes and backgrounds. Here, good schools are a proud tradition. Fine public parks stretch along the beautiful Guadalupe River and flank meandering creeks. Though there is that small-town feel, the city is big enough to boast a top-rated, fast-growing university and a modern, well-respected hospital.
With more than 25,000 living in our growing community, residents and visitors alike enjoy a range of cultural and recreational opportunities including the Heritage Museum, Heritage Village, Sebastopol House Historic Site, historic theatres hosting performing arts, the Texas Agricultural Education and Heritage Center, Pape Pecan House and Nutcracker Museum, Teatro de Artes Cultural Center, local art galleries, Seguin Outdoor Learning Center, ZDT Amusement Park, two pristine golf courses, a sports events complex with tournament quality fields, a rodeo arena, a wave pool, a winery, and a Coliseum for conventions and trade shows. Plus, unique shops and restaurants add charm to the downtown area.

For three days, locals come out of their shells and celebrate the pecan with one big party. Other annual events include Fiesta Cinco de Mayo, the Freedom Fiesta, the Biggest Small-town 4th-of-July Parade in Texas, the Guadalupe County Fair and Rodeo in October, the Heritage Tour of Homes and the Holiday Stroll Parade in December.
