Just 50 minutes south of Dallas/ Fort Worth along I-45, discover Corsicana, where country meets culture.

Witness the history, tragedy and emotions of the Civil War conflict come to life with over 7,000 authentic letters and artifacts in the interactive Pearce Civil War Museum. Wish upon a star at The Cook Center, home of the largest planetarium dome in the state. Travel back in time with a visit to Pioneer Village, where clusters of historic structures abound with heirlooms, artifacts and family treasures.

Country music fans will enjoy a close up look at photos, costumes and records at the Lefty Frizzell Museum. Browse one of the largest private collections of telephone equipment in the world at 3C Communications Museum.

Keep your sweet tooth satisfied with goodies from Navarro Pecan Co., Russell Stover Candies and Collin Street Bakery, home of the world-famous DeLuxe Fruitcake. Shop numerous specialty stores and boutiques in Historic Downtown, and take home a variety of bargains from the Factory Stores of America Mall.

Relax and unwind at one of the many pleasant community parks, then make the short drive to Richland Chambers Lake to enjoy fishing, boating and skiing, before ending the day watching a beautiful sunset on the water.
