Ennis Bluebonnet Trails

Just a 30-minute drive from Dallas you'll find a 40-mile web of public roads that travel through bluebonnet covered land that is so remarkable it has been designated the "Official Texas Bluebonnet Trail" by the Texas Legislature. While the roads are public, the land is privately owned and should be viewed only from your vehicle. You'll find public parks In Ennis where bluebonnets are awaiting your visit for your annual photo in the bluebonnets. This is a spring event that begins when the bluebonnets start blooming and ends when they begin going to seed. The best viewing date depends on nature. So begin checking bloom status mid March.
