Audie Murphy Day

This annual event celebrates the life of Audie Murphy, most decorated combat soldier of WWII. One of the featured speakers this year will be Dr. Graham Cox from the University of North Texas in Denton. His most recent book, Seeking Justice for the Holocaust, focuses on the Nuremberg Trials and the efforts made by Herbert Pell and Franklin D. Roosevelt in seeking justice. Saturday morning's activities will take place at the Fletcher Warren Civic Center at 5501 Hwy 69 South and the afternoon and evening events will take place at the Audie Murphy/American Cotton Museum.
