The Bremond Chamber of Commerce hosts “Bremond Polish Festival Days” every summer! If you really want to experience the Polish hospitality and flavor of our little community, be sure to attend Polski Dzien! Bremond is a small town with “Polish Roots & Pride” conveniently located in Central Texas within a 2 hour drive of Dallas/Ft. Worth, Austin and Houston. The 29th Annual Polski Dzien (Polish Day) will be held June 24-25, 2016. The Festival expanded in 2014 with activities on Friday evening – kicking off at 6pm with a little live music from the Red Dirt Dogs, Kid’s Beauty Pageant starts at 7pm, Check-In for the BBQ Cook-Off, 8:30pm introduces the Margarita Mix-Off Contest and then more live music with the Red Dirt Dogs! Saturday starts at 8am with the Famous 5K Polish Pickle Run, followed by a Polish Themed Parade at 10:30am! The Polish Wawel Dancers from Houston perform right after the parade – then the Main Street Stage kicks off with a Full Day of Music, starting with Jim Mazurkiewicz & Friends. Inside the White Eagle Music Hall, you will find the Westernaires and Brian Marshall & Friends performing. You can visit the Bremond Historical Museum, which will display a special exhibit honoring the “Hopcus” family history. Throughout the Downtown Main Street area you will find Various Food Vendors, including Authentic Polish Cuisine, Lots of Arts & Crafts Vendors and Fun Activities for all ages! The Saturday night street dance always features great entertainment, this year the Chamber presents the Gordon Collier Band opening up for Doug Stone and headlined by Rick Trevino!
