Hill Country Brew Tour

Jun 04, 2016

We will start things off right by filling our stomachs with Underground’s delicious eats! Whether you are in the mood for pizza or an artisan sandwich, you will not walk away from our meeting place hungry. Our first stop will be New Braunfels’ very own brewery, New Braunfels Brewing Company. This brewery initially started their journey focusing on the art of wheat ales; from your standard hefeweizen to the darker side of things like dunkelweiss and weizenbocks. With 8 taps on draft, the selection varies from lights to darks, sours to bitters and salty to sweet every week. We will dive further into their Sour Series, learning more about what makes a beer sour. Next, we will travel north to Middleton Brewing, located between Wimberley and San Marcos. Middleton’s brewpub has a wide array of craft beers and is sure to have a tasty brew for all palates! If you enjoy fresh air, you will love the scenic rooftop seating. If you have room in your stomach, be sure to try the mouth-watering hot sliders served fresh from their resident food truck. When it comes to quenching our beer enthusiasts’ thirst, our last brewery on this tour is ready to meet the challenge! Guadalupe Brewing will not disappoint with their unique brews, including their award-winning Honey Ale and Scotch Ale. We will also enjoy a private look into their unique brewing system, a great representation of the creativity and passion that is involved in craft brewing! Our trek back to Old Town New Braunfels brings us to Patek’s Craft Beer Bar. They specialize in craft beers and rotate 8 local taps. Their beer selection, knowledgeable staff and social events make them a staple in the craft beer industry: the perfect culmination to your OffRhodes beer enthusiast experience! For guests who are ready to wrap things up, your host Christopher, will be shuttling you back to your vehicle. However, with our last stop being within walking distance of our starting point, we welcome beer enthusiasts to enjoy an extended eve
